We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer specializing in Data Science and Machine Learning to spearhead efforts in risk modeling and business forecasting. In this role, you will take ownership of the research charter for Data & Decision Science, empowering business stakeholders to make data-driven decisions and effectively plan their roadmaps. You will collaborate with a team of Data Scientists, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of comprehensive business analysis. Your responsibilities will include managing modeling environments and risk engines, promoting best practices for rapid prototyping, and ensuring a continuous research approach. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will tackle real-world data science challenges by analyzing specific questions and developing reusable solutions. You will work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to prioritize critical inquiries and deliver scalable, reproducible solutions based on data insights. Additionally, you will partner with software and data engineers to implement statistical and econometric modeling techniques, contributing to the overall success of BHN's initiatives.
