The Staff Solutions Architect - Data Warehouse Architecture will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape of the organization. This position involves crafting and implementing innovative technology solutions that align with BECU's business goals, ensuring that these solutions are scalable, reliable, and adhere to industry standards. The architect will be responsible for developing technical blueprints and inspiring a talented team of Solutions Architects, integrating emerging trends and technologies into strategic opportunities. This role is crucial in driving the company's business and technology transformation, which is essential for the future of BECU. In this role, the Staff Solutions Architect will lead solution development by designing and implementing technology solutions that meet BECU's objectives. The architect will also provide mentorship and technical expertise to Solutions Architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Managing complex projects is another key responsibility, as the architect will oversee multiple solution development efforts simultaneously, ensuring that all projects meet their objectives and adhere to architectural standards. Additionally, the architect will establish and manage domain-specific architecture standards, processes, and constraints to ensure consistency and alignment across the organization. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to drive strategic discussions and ensure that the technology solutions align with the overall business strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement technology solutions that align with BECU's business objectives, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide mentorship and technical expertise to Solutions Architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Oversee multiple solution development efforts simultaneously, ensuring that all projects meet their objectives and adhere to architectural standards.
  • Define and manage domain-specific architecture standards, processes, and constraints to ensure consistency and alignment across the organization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive strategic discussions regarding technology solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in data warehouse architecture and solutions development.
  • Strong understanding of technology trends and their application in business contexts.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
