About the position
As a Staff Tax Accountant at Total Quality Logistics (TQL), you will play a crucial role in the preparation, analysis, and communication of essential tax and financial information. This position focuses on enhancing efficiency and improvement, contributing to TQL's rapid growth across the nation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file various indirect tax returns
- Assist in the process of securing tax incentives, monitoring progress on incentives, and completing reporting requirements
- Assist with journal entries and prepare various tax account reconciliations as requested
- Assist in the review of IRS Tax Forms W8 collected from international vendors
Requirements
- Strong work ethic
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access
- Accuracy in daily work and other projects
- Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines
- Ability to function as a team player
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Shows initiative to take on additional responsibilities
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Oracle is a plus
