About the position

Walmart is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager with extensive experience in software/application development project management. This role involves leading large-scale projects, driving execution of business plans, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong Agile methodology knowledge and project management skills to navigate complex and ambiguous situations, ultimately enhancing the customer experience through technology.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple highly complex projects or large complex Care applications programs through their lifecycle phases to successful completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules to track milestones and manage risks effectively.
• Coordinate production issue resolution and interpret data to guide teams towards issue resolution and risk management.
• Build relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders to identify business needs and implement solutions.
• Model compliance with company policies and support the mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Foster an environment that supports learning, innovation, and intelligent risk-taking while encouraging continuous improvements.
• Create a discipline around developing talent and empower associates to act in the best interest of the customer and company.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 9+ years of technical project or program management experience OR a Master's degree with 7+ years of experience.
• Experience with Agile methods including Scrum and Kanban.
• Enterprise software engineering program management experience for full SDLC.
• Proficiency in using product backlog management tools like JIRA, Confluence, and MS Project.
• Ability to articulate technical concepts in business terms using MS Office tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Industry certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist, or Project Management Professional (PMP).
• Experience in creating inclusive digital experiences and knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards.
