About the position

The Staff Technical Program Manager will oversee multiple medium- to high-complexity programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and managing dependencies across teams. This role requires technical expertise in system design and operational excellence, as well as the ability to identify synergies and improve processes. The manager will be responsible for program planning, monitoring progress, and delivering results while addressing risks and ensuring quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define goals, deliverables, schedules, and critical paths for managing multiple programs.
• Secure commitment from teams and manage dependencies within assigned areas of work.
• Resolve ambiguous situations and clarify program teams on technology solutions.
• Identify synergies, overlaps, and waste for program tracks.
• Participate in discussions for high-level system/solution design and understand design choices.
• Direct the identification and resolution of defects/bugs during testing and post-production.
• Clarify requirements with engineering teams and translate product features into technical designs.
• Identify similar capabilities for software reuse opportunities during planning and execution.
• Establish end-to-end delivery plans based on impacts and interdependencies between applications and infrastructure.
• Propose frameworks, tools, and methodologies to drive automation across initiatives.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of multiple projects against milestones and quality metrics.
• Identify key risks and develop mitigation plans under guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of experience in relevant fields, or 7 years of experience in engineering or program management.
• Experience with creating dashboards and reports in JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience with Power BI Desktop for data transformation.
• Knowledge of Generative AI applications and model types.
• Proficiency in MS Project and stakeholder communication across various teams.
• Experience in scheduling management and negotiating timelines.
• Experience executing ETL processes, APIs, and databases.
• Familiarity with cloud computing and high-level design creations.
