About the position

The Staff Technical Recruiter will play a crucial role in supporting Tinder's hiring efforts on a contract basis, focusing on full-lifecycle recruitment for technical roles. This position requires collaboration with hiring managers to understand their needs, sourcing and screening candidates, and ensuring a seamless hiring process, particularly for iOS and Android positions, while also supporting other technical disciplines as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand technical role requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Source and attract candidates through various channels.
  • Conduct thorough screenings and interviews to evaluate candidates' technical skills, experience, and values-add.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from posting job openings to extending offers and negotiating terms.
  • Provide an excellent candidate experience by maintaining clear and timely communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Utilize ATS (Lever) to track and manage candidate progress.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in technical recruiting, preferably in a high-growth tech environment.
  • Strong understanding of technical roles and the ability to evaluate technical skills (specifically in Android and iOS).
  • Proficiency in using various sourcing tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with ATS software (e.g. Lever, Greenhouse).
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Experience leading end-to-end recruitment processes and developing comprehensive recruitment strategies for niche roles.
  • Successful management of high-level candidate negotiations.
  • Utilizes data-driven insights to lead cross-functional recruitment improvements.

  • Experience recruiting for a mobile-first, high scale company.
  • Full life-cycle recruiting experience for iOS and Android positions.
  • Experience mentoring others and/or team leadership experience.
  • Subject matter expert in engineering talent acquisition.
  • Demonstrates successful cross-functional partnerships, across both Engineering Leadership, Talent Acquisition, and HRBPs.
