About the position

Moveworks is seeking a Staff Technical Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team in Mountain View, CA. This role is pivotal in recruiting top talent across the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Search technologies. As a Staff Technical Recruiter, you will collaborate closely with hiring managers and technical leaders to identify and attract world-class engineers, data scientists, and researchers who can contribute to our mission of transforming enterprise workflows through intelligent automation. Your expertise in modern software engineering technologies will be essential in sourcing candidates who align with our innovative vision. In this hybrid position, you will be required to work in the office 2-3 days a week. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing recruitment strategies tailored to attract top-tier talent in AI, ML, and Search. You will manage the full-cycle recruitment process, which encompasses sourcing, screening, interviewing, negotiating, and closing candidates for various roles. Building strong relationships with both passive and active candidates will be crucial, as you will need to effectively communicate Moveworks' vision and the technical challenges we face in these domains. You will also partner with engineering leaders to define hiring needs and align recruitment efforts with our business objectives. Staying informed about trends in AI, ML, and Search technology recruitment will be part of your role, as will continuously refining our recruiting processes based on feedback and industry best practices. Your operational rigor will be demonstrated through data-driven recruiting, maintaining high standards within our Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) tools, and optimizing our talent pipeline for efficiency. As a key contributor to our team, you will regularly analyze recruitment data to provide insights into hiring trends and areas for improvement, ensuring transparency and accountability across the recruitment process. Compliance with recruiting policies and procedures will also be a priority, as you work to ensure an exceptional candidate experience while meeting our hiring targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top-tier AI, ML, and Search talent, including software engineers, data scientists, and machine learning experts.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, negotiating, and closing candidates for AI/ML and Search roles.
  • Build strong relationships with passive and active candidates, showcasing Moveworks' vision and technical challenges in AI, ML, and Search technology.
  • Work closely with engineering leaders to define hiring needs and align recruitment efforts with business objectives.
  • Stay up to date on trends in AI, ML, and Search technology recruitment, including evolving salary benchmarks, talent availability, and competitive insights.
  • Continuously refine the recruiting process by leveraging feedback, data, and industry best practices to ensure an exceptional candidate experience and meet hiring targets.
  • Implement and maintain rigorous operational processes to ensure consistent tracking and reporting of key metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, quality of hire, sourcing effectiveness).
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and organization within Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) tools to ensure data integrity.
  • Create scalable and repeatable sourcing workflows that minimize bottlenecks and optimize efficiency within the talent pipeline.
  • Regularly review recruitment data to provide insights into hiring trends, process bottlenecks, and areas for improvement, ensuring transparency and accountability across the team.
  • Ensure adherence to all recruiting policies, procedures, and compliance requirements, while continually optimizing recruiting processes based on best practices and industry trends.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of technical recruiting experience, with at least 3+ years specializing in AI, ML, or Search-related roles.
  • Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, search technologies, and their application in enterprise settings.
  • Ability to understand technical job requirements in AI, ML, and Search, and effectively communicate them to candidates.
  • Proven ability to build and nurture relationships with passive candidates, particularly in highly competitive technical markets.
  • Experience using recruitment metrics to measure effectiveness, improve processes, and report progress to stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present Moveworks' mission and technical challenges to candidates and stakeholders.
