We are looking for a researcher to join our growing UX research team, paving the way to create a more user-centered and data-driven product experience. Our team thrives on collaboration and digging in to fully understand any problem's context. As a UX Researcher at The Trade Desk, you will have a unique opportunity to shape our fast-growing platform used by thousands of people across the globe. You will help inform our product design process with qualitative and quantitative data generate ideas and expand our understanding of our users. We want our research to have a massive impact on the advertising ecosystem -- making advertising better for everyone involved - advertisers, publishers and consumers.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research using a variety of methods including secondary synthesis, in-depth interviews, surveys, and creative design research methods.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop research roadmaps that span tactical and long-term initiatives.
  • Translate business questions into research objectives and devise research plans considering timing and resource constraints.
  • Guide other researchers on research methodology, analysis, and communication of results.
  • Analyze and synthesize qualitative research, integrating metrics when necessary.
  • Communicate research findings effectively to engage stakeholders and diverse audiences, including executives.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a user researcher at a technology company.
  • Expertise in using a variety of research approaches to answer business questions and impact product strategy.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work on complex or ambiguous problems.
  • Detail-oriented and rigorous in analysis and synthesis of qualitative research.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication for different audiences.
