About the position

The Trade Desk is seeking a UX Researcher to join its growing UX research team. This role focuses on creating a user-centered and data-driven product experience, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative research methods to inform product design and strategy. The UX Researcher will collaborate with stakeholders to understand user needs and contribute to the development of a platform that enhances advertising experiences for brands, publishers, and consumers globally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to inform product design and strategy.
• Translate business questions into research objectives and develop comprehensive research plans.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create roadmaps for tactical and long-term research initiatives.
• Guide other researchers on methodology, analysis, and communication of results.
• Synthesize and analyze qualitative research findings, integrating metrics when necessary.
• Communicate research findings effectively to engage diverse audiences, including executives.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a user researcher in a technology company.
• Expertise in various research approaches including secondary synthesis, in-depth interviews, surveys, and creative design research methods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and tackle complex problems.
• Strong storytelling skills to present research findings clearly and engagingly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, tailored for different audiences.

• Research experience in B2B and advertising technology.
