About the position

The UX Researcher will lead the UX Research function for the Developer Product Group, focusing on enhancing the developer experience through comprehensive research. This role involves collaborating closely with Design and Product teams to conduct various research methods, providing guidance to stakeholders, and crafting impactful research reports that inform product design and strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UX Research function for the Developer Product Group.
• Coordinate and conduct mixed-methods research, including interviews, usability testing, concept testing, surveys, and fieldwork.
• Provide guidance and education to stakeholders to transform vague business needs into actionable research questions.
• Develop innovative methods to enable the team to gather feedback from developers more easily.
• Craft research reports to communicate findings and make impactful design and product recommendations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of user research experience, preferably in a lead role for a large product area with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience scaling UX research to enable various stakeholders to conduct effective research under guidance.
• Experience researching developer products and tools.
• Working knowledge of general research principles and UX research principles.
• Ability to provide confident team leadership and patient guidance to stakeholders at various levels.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex concepts and influence strategy and decision-making.
• Experience managing project prioritization and multiple stakeholder relationships independently.
• Experience with both moderated and unmoderated testing.
• Collaborative attitude, team mentality, and humility.
• A learner's mindset, viewing feedback as an opportunity for growth.
• Interest in crypto or financial products.
