About the position

The Trade Desk is seeking a UX Researcher to join its growing team, focusing on creating a user-centered and data-driven product experience. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand user needs and inform product design through qualitative and quantitative research methods. The UX Researcher will play a crucial role in shaping the platform used by thousands globally, aiming to enhance the advertising ecosystem for advertisers, publishers, and consumers alike.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to inform product design.
  • Translate business questions into research objectives and develop research plans.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create research roadmaps that address both tactical and long-term initiatives.
  • Guide other researchers on methodology, analysis, and communication of results.
  • Deliver engaging presentations of research findings to diverse audiences, including executives.
  • Stay updated with user research trends, best practices, and technologies.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a user researcher in a technology company.
  • Expertise in various research approaches including secondary synthesis, in-depth interviews, and surveys.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and tackle complex problems.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in qualitative research synthesis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, tailored for different audiences.
