About the position

The Teresa Cowart Team is seeking a highly motivated and creative Staff Videographer - Photographer to join our dynamic marketing team in Savannah, GA. This position is ideal for an individual who is passionate about connecting with current and future customers through various mediums, including video, photography, graphic design, and both digital and traditional marketing efforts. The successful candidate will be an out-of-the-box thinker who can operate within legal boundaries while bringing innovative ideas to the table. Proven experience in video production and editing is essential, along with a solid understanding of social media platforms. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our marketing team to effectively communicate our brand's message and materials to the marketplace. You will be responsible for enhancing our social media presence and creatively improving our existing marketing methods. This position requires strong interaction with various teams, including marketing, customer service, operations, sales, and technology, to ensure that all communications accurately reflect our brand and meet our overall goals. As part of your application, you will need to complete an assessment that will be emailed to you, which includes a link to your portfolio or work samples. Compensation for this position ranges from $15 to $18 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong video concepts for different entities within the organization used for organic promotion, paid advertising, and brand awareness.
  • Oversee the entire video production process from pre-production to delivery.
  • Assist with live events and all productions as needed.
  • Create interesting, unique, and engaging content for multiple social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Design graphics for property listings, special events, social media, and websites.
  • Maintain all social media channels with scheduled posts and updates.
  • Plan and organize team events and markets across all social media channels.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of advertising and content best practices on all social platforms.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud apps including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Proficiency in videography, sound design, typography, photography, and non-linear editing software.
  • Knowledge of print media specifications, responsive digital designs, and large-format display advertising.
  • Experience in social media management and/or event planning.
  • Ability to analyze and optimize data effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, upbeat attitude.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
