The Staff VP, Data Analytics Architecture Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that FM Global maintains continuity in business operations by leveraging state-of-the-art loss-prevention engineering and research, risk management skills, and tailored risk transfer capabilities. This position requires a dynamic leader who can manage a culturally diverse group of employees across various challenging roles in over 100 countries. In this role, you will develop and lead a high-performing team of Analytics Solution Architects and Data Engineers. You will be responsible for mentoring and coaching team members, fostering their professional growth, and creating a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment that encourages innovation and excellence. Regular performance assessments, constructive feedback, and career development plans will be part of your responsibilities to ensure the team's success. You will define and drive the technical strategy and roadmap for Data Analytics, ensuring alignment with FM Global's product and technology vision. Staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Data Analytics, including Data Science, Generative AI, Enterprise Data Warehousing, and Enterprise Reporting, will be essential. You will evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and practices to enhance the capabilities and efficiency of the Data Analytics department. Collaboration with other business and technology practice leaders will be key to ensuring alignment with enterprise technology direction and practices. You will facilitate cross-team collaboration to optimize resource allocation, skill alignment, and project delivery, partnering with stakeholders to identify and address technical challenges for successful project outcomes. As a champion of technical excellence and innovation, you will lead the implementation of secure, performant, and reliable application development practices, oversee proof of concept initiatives, and maintain technical standards, documentation, and best practices. Operational management will also be part of your role, where you will manage budgeting, procurement, and maintenance of technical tools and software necessary for the Data Analytics department, ensuring compliance with enterprise policies and procedures.
