About the position

The Staff VP, Medicaid Whole Health is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the Medicaid Health Plans' whole health initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives. This position involves governance across all health plans, establishing organizational models, and implementing metrics to measure outcomes. The role also focuses on health equity and social drivers of health, with a strong emphasis on supporting underserved populations.

Responsibilities

• Govern governance across all health plans, establishing an organizational model for Medicaid Health plans that is inclusive and compliant with state-specific requirements.
• Develop and implement metrics across all markets to measure health outcomes.
• Establish and oversee the Medicaid governance structure, including steering workgroups and councils.
• Support the whole health and health equity strategy and execution at the health plan level.
• Lead the Social Drivers of Health (SDoH) strategy and execution at the Medicaid health plan level, including program development and deployment of roles in local markets.
• Align health equity focus within or around whole health to ensure targets and metrics are continually evaluated, including reporting and outcomes to show impacts on underserved populations.
• Implement and maintain the whole health model, determining branding approaches specific to Medicaid.
• Monitor markets and emerging state issues to leverage health plan data.
• Support population/whole health in requests for proposals (RFPs).

Requirements

• BA/BS in a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years' experience, including 10+ years of prior management experience.
• Experience with Medicaid Health Plans in multiple markets and Whole Health Initiatives.

Nice-to-haves
