About the position

The Staffing Clerk at Price Chopper is responsible for managing the administrative aspects of the Computer Assisted Interviewing Process. This includes scheduling interviews, conducting interviews, and following up with all candidates to ensure compliance with program requirements. The role also involves maintaining communication with the Recruitment Department to facilitate a smooth hiring process. Additionally, the Staffing Clerk will conduct New Hire orientations and ensure that all new hire paperwork is completed and followed up on appropriately. In this position, the Staffing Clerk will also handle the administrative aspects of the Computer Based Training Process, which includes scheduling training sessions and following up with trainees to ensure compliance with program requirements. The Staffing Clerk will communicate regularly with the Management team to address current staffing needs and will track diversity initiatives and retention issues, collaborating with the HR Specialist for follow-through on these matters. Conducting exit interviews with associates who terminate employment is also a key responsibility of this role. The Staffing Clerk is expected to maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to the company's 5S standards, ensuring that efficiency and customer service are prioritized at all times. Other related duties may be assigned by management, and adherence to company policies and procedures is essential.

Responsibilities
