About the position

As a Staffing Consultant at Beacon Hill, you will play a crucial role in connecting job seekers with temporary and contract roles within various companies and organizations in your local market. This position encompasses the full cycle of recruiting, from sourcing candidates to their placement. You will engage in meaningful conversations with job seekers through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings. Building strong relationships with candidates is essential, as you will coach them through every step of the job search process, offering guidance on resume editing, interview preparation, and post-interview follow-ups. In addition to candidate engagement, you will collaborate with your team to discuss open positions, post job advertisements, and utilize online sourcing tools to find the best candidates. Your ability to assess job seekers' capabilities and match them with suitable roles will be vital to your success. This role is not just about reading resumes; it requires a keen understanding of people and their potential fit within various work environments. As a relationship-focused sales position, your efforts will directly correlate with your results, and you will be expected to hold yourself accountable to your goals while building your book of business. Your daily responsibilities will include identifying prospective candidates through job boards and networking, conducting interviews, preparing candidates for client interviews, managing the offer process, and maintaining communication with candidates on assignment to ensure their needs are met. This position demands excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, leadership qualities, and a competitive drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify prospective candidates via job board search tools, LinkedIn, internet searches, referrals, and professional networking.
  • Post jobs on job boards.
  • Interview prospective candidates.
  • Prepare candidates for interviews with client companies by reviewing resumes, discussing client needs, and conducting mock interviews.
  • Contact candidates post-interview to recap the interview and provide next steps.
  • Extend job offers and manage the offer process for candidates.
  • Reach out to candidates who are on assignment to ensure they have everything they need.
