About the position

The Stage Manager at Cinelease Herc Rentals is responsible for acting as a liaison between Studio Operations and Production, ensuring the professional management of the studio facility. This role requires proactive problem-solving and multi-tasking skills to oversee various aspects of studio operations, including production requests, vendor services, and facility logistics. The Stage Manager must maintain strong working relationships with production crews and other departments while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between Studio Operations and Production.
• Provide excellent public relations and customer service skills.
• Report studio activity and potential problems to the supervisor.
• Monitor and maintain a Daily Stage Status report.
• Participate in walkthrough inspections of pre and postproduction stages.
• Coordinate stage power access and use with relevant departments.
• Conduct safety checks and create power tickets for billing purposes.
• Coordinate HVAC system and red-light bell system.
• Manage hazardous waste and waste management container deliveries.
• Coordinate handling and storage of liquid propane gas according to regulations.
• Participate in project management of stage needs with the facilities department.
• Coordinate traffic control and parking with Security.
• Review Security Daily Activity Reports and assist in emergencies.

Requirements

• 3-5 years' experience in the Film/Production Industry.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
