About the position

We are seeking two experienced stagers/designers to join our team at Your Property People. This part-time, contract position focuses on home staging, design selection, and project management to prepare homes for sale. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in home staging and will be comfortable managing the entire process from creating a design scope to staging the final space.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to assess each property and develop a scope of work based on its needs and sales goals.
• Determine and select colors for paint, source carpet, choose new lighting fixtures, and select backsplash tile to enhance property appeal.
• Identify and source cost-effective, appealing design solutions tailored to each home.
• Meet vendors at the property to review the project scope and obtain quotes.
• Coordinate with painters, carpet installers, electricians, and tile installers to ensure timely delivery and quality work.
• Schedule and sequence the work upon seller approval, and track progress to ensure deadlines are met.
• Monitor the quality and timeliness of each phase of work, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure all work is completed as planned and to standards.
• Stage homes using provided furniture to create a cohesive and inviting space for potential buyers.

Requirements

• Experience in home staging is required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketchup.
• Familiarity with Google Suite and Google Docs.
• Knowledge of color theory and design principles.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with various vendors.
