About the position

The Standardization and Evaluation Analyst plays a crucial role in compiling trend analysis information for Standardization/Evaluation Boards (SEBs) and reporting to higher headquarters (HHQ). This position involves maintaining flight evaluation folders, conducting evaluations, and providing actionable insights to improve crew capabilities. The analyst will also assist in the presentation of semiannual SEBs and maintain an electronic database for recordkeeping and trend analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Compile trend analysis information for Standardization/Evaluation Boards (SEBs) and HHQ reporting.
  • Report trend analysis results to the Chief of Stan/Eval and HHQ every 6 months.
  • Assist in identifying operational and/or training factors affecting crew capability and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist in the presentation of semiannual SEBs for the Air Defense Squadron Commander and the Sector Commander.
  • Compile Supplementary Evaluations trend data and report to the Chief of Stan/Eval.
  • Maintain and utilize an electronic file database for recordkeeping and trend analysis.
  • Maintain Flight Evaluation Folders (FEFs) for operational personnel qualifications.
  • Review documented results of evaluations for accuracy and file necessary forms in FEFs.
  • Create and file Memorandums for Record (MFRs) for corrections and extensions.
  • Maintain qualification history on an AF Form 942 for all personnel with operational qualifications.
  • Conduct posting reviews of unit FEFs annually and document periodic reviews on AF Form 942.
  • Administer electronic examinations via the Patriot Excalibur System (PEX) and document scores.
  • Utilize PEX to verify and load qualification competencies and collect trend analysis information.
  • Identify and report discrepancies in the Master Question File (MQF) during PEX examinations.
  • Maintain a library of current read files and publications.
  • Assist with the creation and dissemination of operational positional checklists.
  • Coordinate with various chiefs regarding evaluation requirements and documentation.
  • Conduct daily office duties including typing, database entry, and safety/security checks.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in trend analysis and Air Operations Center operations.
  • US citizen with a valid Secret clearance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
