About the position

Stantec's New York City Landscape Architecture Studio is seeking an entry-level landscape architectural designer to support the studio in developing design and collaborating with other professionals such as planners, engineers, and architects. The role involves working on a variety of projects including waterfronts, streetscapes, parks, and cultural facilities, primarily located in NYC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site analysis and develop design concepts for projects and master plans, including digital and hand-drawn plans, sections, elevations, and perspectives.
• Prepare design development and contract documents using CAD.
• Produce project renderings and report graphics.

Requirements

• Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited school.
• 0 to 3 years' experience in landscape architecture.
• High level of proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe CS, Rhino, and rendering software.
• Familiarity with GIS.
• Superior research, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and graphic communication skills.
