Requirements

• Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate using multiple frequency devices and operate technology equipment as directed.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Capability to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by connecting with guests and prioritizing their needs.
• Uphold and maintain the execution of Food and Beverage Standards and Starbucks brand standards.
• Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, and inventory management.
• Maintain awareness of promotional activities within Starbucks.
• Support the Starbucks Drive Up process for accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain an inviting dining area for guests.
• Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards.
• Produce items to specifications and follow department routines.
• Monitor and record temperature-sensitive food items as per best practices.
• Complete and record all cleaning tasks in the Starbucks space.
• Follow proper packaging and labeling guidelines for food products.
• Locate and identify damaged, recalled, or expired items and process them accordingly.
• Ensure accurate in-stocks by placing store-initiated orders as needed.
• Follow proper perishable inventory procedures for accurate recording.
• Execute sampling best practices.
• Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests.
• Observe and understand guest needs through body language and verbal cues.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to assist guests effectively.
• Thank guests genuinely and enhance their shopping experience.
• Complete all required Starbucks trainings related to quality control.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
• Work safely and identify hazards; comply with all safety policies and best practices.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and order pick up.
