About The Position

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Fully conversational in English.
• Must obtain ServSafe certification or equivalent within 30 days of being hired.
• Able to lift 35 pounds in weight.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Must be able to operate kitchen equipment, including espresso machines and grinders.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to build relationships.
• Legal documentation establishing identity and eligibility to work in the country.
• Ability to work full time, including variable hours such as early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the OTG Starbucks experience to all guests and fellow crewmembers.
• Provide prompt service and quality beverages and products.
• Maintain a clean and comfortable store environment.
• Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge to promote OTG's culture and values.
• Maintain a calm demeanor during high volume periods to keep store operations standard.
• Anticipate customer and store needs by evaluating the environment and customers.
• Communicate necessary information to the manager for team response.
• Assist with new crew training and provide respectful coaching as needed.
• Engage with guests to discover and respond to their needs.
• Follow cash handling and cash register policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Provide quality beverages and food products by adhering to recipe and presentation standards.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Communicate product shortages or equipment issues to the manager immediately.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform various tasks within the store during each shift.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and well-groomed appearance.
