About the position

The Starline Sales Partner Engineer at Google plays a crucial role in the Partnerships Development team, focusing on exploring and developing new opportunities with strategic enterprise partners. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and business acumen to creatively solve challenges and enable partners to succeed with Google's product offerings, particularly the Starline platform. The role involves close collaboration with various internal teams to enhance partner experiences and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with teams and customers to develop, sign, and manage our pre-sales customers and the broader pipeline of customers to help scale usage.
  • Build broad technical expertise and practical experience with partners and customers of Starline hardware and the Starline platform.
  • Take technical ownership of key partnerships and customer accounts.
  • Engage with internal and external product, infrastructure, and IT teams to resolve technical issues and propose solutions to ensure a seamless operation.
  • Provide feedback from the partner to the Starline product and engineering teams.
  • Contribute to products and our roadmap by being a technical advisor for how best to operate our platform with customers, ensuring all commerce and billing is operational between internal and external teams.
  • Drive business analysis and provide business analytics and insight reports on Starline business development to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • 5 years of experience in pre-sales or technical customer-focused roles, as well as experience in technical client or partner engineering at an enterprise software or cloud company.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $162,000-$243,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
