About the position

The Starlink Enterprise Account Lead for Government at SpaceX is responsible for managing relationships with enterprise customers in the government sector. This role involves overseeing the customer experience from contract signature through activation, ensuring that all contract terms are met while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be proactive, customer-focused, and skilled in managing accounts to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a support contact within the Government vertical, owning responsibilities from contract signature onwards including onboarding and account management tasks.
  • Deliver impeccable customer service to the enterprise team and customers in the government vertical, efficiently acknowledging and resolving issues.
  • Build relationships to identify requirements and manage expectations.
  • Collect, communicate, and champion customer feedback internally to influence programmatic and technical development.
  • Act as an extreme owner of assigned accounts to realize forecasted revenue on or ahead of schedule, identifying and communicating readiness levels, requirements, schedules, and risks.
  • Identify and lead implementation of process and system enhancements to improve handoffs and execution across various cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business; OR high school diploma/equivalency certificate and 2+ years of professional experience.
  • 1+ year experience in a customer-facing role.

Nice-to-haves

  • Significant knowledge or experience in industries such as Aviation, Airlines, Enterprise Sales, Finance, Reseller, Maritime, or Satellite Communications.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and delivering under tight time and resource constraints.
  • Excellent problem-solving and sleuthing skills.
  • Significant technical knowledge of Starlink or telecommunications in key areas such as satellites, ground network, or user terminals.
  • Demonstrated ability to turn customer feedback into actionable improvements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including crafting and presenting professional presentations.
  • Excellent empathy, active listening, and resiliency skills.
  • Ability to read contract documents and discern requirements and deliverables.
