About the position

The Startup Operations Manager for AWS Startups will play a crucial role in supporting the global Startups Segment team by leveraging technical, financial, and business operations skills. This position is focused on enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness for startups utilizing AWS, contributing directly to their growth and success. The role involves streamlining processes, implementing tools for automation, and fostering collaboration across teams to ensure startups receive the support they need to scale their businesses effectively.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business analytics and data engineering teams to implement key operational initiatives.
• Streamline global startup operations processes for consistency and scalability.
• Assist in managing goal setting and forecasting processes, analyzing trends and variances.
• Implement tools and technologies to automate operational tasks and improve productivity.
• Lead efforts to enhance cross-team cohesion around tracking, reporting, and data management.
• Leverage data-driven insights to identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Develop new metrics and frameworks to address key business questions.
• Prepare and deliver data-driven reviews to leadership on progress and challenges.
• Build alignment with adjacent teams and influence stakeholders towards common goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience.
• Experience developing and implementing systems/tools for CRM, revenue reporting, and forecasting.
• Experience conducting complex data analysis and translating results into actionable insights.
• Experience using Salesforce or other CRM tools and BI tools.
• Experience defining and implementing sales processes and policies.
