About the position

The State Administrative Manager 15 - Assistant Funds Administrator is responsible for overseeing the design and operation of automated systems related to workers' disability compensation and cash receipting within the Funds Administration. This role includes acting as the system administrator, managing staff training, coordinating system enhancements, and ensuring compliance with Medicare reporting requirements. The position also involves vendor management and collaboration with the finance team for annual audits.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the system administrator for the automated workers' disability compensation system (FAIS) and Cash Receipting System (CRS).
  • Manage staff training and development of procedures.
  • Coordinate ongoing system design enhancements.
  • Oversee all computer operations within the Funds Administration.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare Secondary Payer Mandatory Reporting (CMS Section 111 Reporting).
  • Manage vendor relationships in conjunction with the Claims Manager.
  • Collaborate with the finance team for the annual financial audit.

Requirements

  • Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
  • Four years of professional experience, including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level.
