About the position

The State Administrative Manager for Residential and Intensive Community Placement is responsible for overseeing and managing staff activities related to specialized residential and community placements for children and youth across the state. This role involves analyzing placement trends, making program recommendations, and leading initiatives to improve placement practices.

Responsibilities

  • Direct oversight and monitoring of staff activities related to specialized residential and intensive community placement statewide.
  • Analyze placement tracking and trends, making recommendations for program changes based on findings.
  • Lead efforts to improve placement practices and opportunities for children and youth.
  • Manage section staff and operations.

Requirements

  • Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major; a degree in human services is preferred.
  • Four years of professional experience, including two years at the experienced (P11) level or one year at the advanced (12) level.
  • High school diploma or GED with relevant safety and regulatory or law enforcement experience may substitute for education and experience requirements.

Nice-to-haves
