About the position

The State Administrative Manager for Residential and Intensive Community Placement is responsible for overseeing and monitoring staff activities related to specialized residential and community placements for children and youth across the state. This role involves analyzing placement trends, making program recommendations, and leading initiatives to improve placement practices. The position also includes management of section staff and operations, ensuring a commitment to a diverse and respectful work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Direct oversight and monitoring of staff activities related to specialized residential and intensive community placements statewide.
  • Analyze placement tracking and trends, making recommendations for program changes based on findings.
  • Lead initiatives to improve placement practices and opportunities for children and youth.
  • Manage section staff and operations effectively.

Requirements

  • Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
  • Four years of professional experience, including two years at the experienced (P11) level or one year at the advanced (12) level.
  • A bachelor's degree in a human services major is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in safety and regulatory or law enforcement at the 14 level or higher.
