About the position

The State Government Account Executive position at T-Mobile focuses on driving sales and customer satisfaction within State and Local Government accounts. This role involves new business development, contract renewals, and enhancing customer retention while meeting sales expectations and maintaining high performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Utilize contact list to call leads to generate sales opportunities.
• Exceed monthly sales, renewal, and churn target goals.
• Welcome customers to T-Mobile, review service agreements, and answer questions regarding service.
• Establish and cultivate customer relationships to drive sales and increase customer base.
• Complete customer account maintenance resulting from account reviews.
• Provide account analysis to determine up-sell and renewal offers.
• Monitor and resolve customer issues.
• Track individual account activity and results.
• Perform extensive data entry and system navigation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Complete continuous training to maintain knowledge of products, services, and sales approaches.
• Attain productivity and sales goals based on targeted metrics.
• Disburse adjustments and credits as appropriate within established limits.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED (Required)
• 4-7 years of Business Sales Experience (Required)
• 4-7 years Selling to State Government accounts strongly preferred, at minimum must have previous Government Sales experience (Preferred)
• 4-7 years Wireless, telecom or technical sales experience (Preferred)
