About the position

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as the primary HR leader for their respective state(s) at Versiti, integrating business strategy with people management practices. This role involves driving results through the implementation of Versiti-wide programs and policies, collaborating with local leadership to translate business needs into HR solutions, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. The HRBP is responsible for cultivating employee engagement, providing guidance on HR matters, and maintaining a strong organizational culture.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate employee engagement and corporate culture through effective administration of HR policies and programs.
  • Provide daily coaching and guidance to employees and leaders in HR matters.
  • Guide performance management, workforce planning, and succession planning processes.
  • Coordinate with Strategic HR Business Partners and Centers of Expertise for HR initiatives.
  • Advise on legal compliance regarding employee matters and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Implement HR policies and programs across business units, including DE&I and Talent Development.
  • Influence local leaders to drive a unified HR perspective.
  • Analyze HR trends and metrics to inform recommendations for improvements.
  • Work in a hybrid environment, flexing in-office days as needed.
  • Travel across multiple locations to maintain employee presence and relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field required.
  • 7-9 years of progressive HR experience in various HR functions required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an HR or Business Functions Managerial/Leadership Role required.
  • 1-3 years working with HR systems, including case management and payroll required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Change and Project Management required.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply HR and legal documents effectively required.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to address employee and business issues required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
  • Ability to translate organizational goals into HR strategic solutions required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field desired.
  • 1-3 years of Labor Relations (union avoidance) preferred.
  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)-HRCI preferred.
