About the position

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) at Versiti, Inc. serves as the primary HR leader for the state, integrating business strategy with people management practices. This role involves driving results through the implementation of company-wide HR programs and policies, while collaborating with local leadership to address business needs and foster a positive organizational culture. The HRBP acts as an employee advocate, ensuring concerns are addressed and compliance with employment laws is maintained, while also providing guidance on various HR matters.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate employee engagement and corporate culture through effective administration of HR policies and programs.
  • Maintain the overall pulse of the organization's culture and employee engagement, recommending actions to address gaps.
  • Provide daily coaching and guidance to employees and leaders on HR matters.
  • Coordinate resolution of employee relations issues with HR Centers of Expertise (CoEs).
  • Guide performance management, workforce planning, and succession planning processes.
  • Oversee hiring and job change decisions, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Ensure effective delivery of HR initiatives, including New Hire Orientation.
  • Advise on legal compliance regarding employee matters and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Manage local budget and seek necessary approvals for expenditures.
  • Implement and administer HR policies and initiatives across business units, including DE&I and Talent Development.
  • Participate in state leadership meetings, providing a unified HR perspective on business matters.
  • Analyze HR trends and metrics to inform recommendations for improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field required.
  • Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field desired.
  • 7-9 years of progressive HR experience in various HR functions required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an HR or Business Functions Managerial/Leadership Role required.
  • 1-3 years working with HR systems, including case management and payroll required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Change and Project Management required.
  • 1-3 years of Labor Relations experience preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to understand employee and business issues and provide practical solutions required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven record of effective relationships required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred.
