About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at BrightSpring Health Services plays a crucial role in sourcing, attracting, recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding employees. This position is essential for ensuring that the organization has the right talent to help individuals live their best lives. The specialist will collaborate with hiring managers to develop effective recruiting strategies and represent the organization at job fairs and other recruitment events.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with hiring managers to review position descriptions and determine recruiting strategy, including sourcing of candidates and advertising.
  • Conduct briefings and prepare reports for senior management regarding vacancies and recruiting efforts.
  • Prepare job postings, specifications for recruitment agencies, and job descriptions in accordance with recruitment standards.
  • Respond to inquiries about recruitment activities and job vacancies.
  • Contact candidates, schedule interviews, and develop interview questions with hiring managers.
  • Source, interview, test, rank, and select candidates, providing feedback to unsuccessful candidates.
  • Prepare job offer materials and negotiate salary with successful candidates.
  • Represent the organization at job fairs and travel to schools and universities for on-site recruiting.
  • Ensure required documentation for new employees is obtained and coordinate the new hire process.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of effective recruitment/selection techniques and understanding of HR practices governed by federal, state, and local statutes.
  • Ability to sell the BrightSpring Health Services brand and opportunities within the organization.
  • Strong follow-up skills and ability to keep candidates engaged during the recruitment process.
  • Ability to listen to business partners to fully understand recruitment needs.
