About the position
The Reporting and Pupil Accounting Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and updating the District's state reporting and student record databases. This role serves as a crucial link between the District's computerized pupil accounting system and various state reporting systems, ensuring compatibility and facilitating information exchanges. The coordinator will also develop reports and queries for different departments within the District, establish procedures for pupil accounting, and assist personnel in completing their duties accurately and timely.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the District's State reporting and student record databases.
- Serve as the link between the District's computerized pupil accounting system and state reporting systems.
- Facilitate the upload/download of information exchanges between the State and the District.
- Use District software to develop queries and reports for various departments.
- Establish procedures related to the District's pupil accounting and student record database.
- Assist Administration and Services Center personnel with pupil accounting duties.
- Provide overall supervision of staffing needs pertaining to secretaries.
Requirements
- Experience with state reporting systems such as MSDS, CEPI, EEM, UIC, GAD, and BAA.
- Proficiency in using District software for data management and reporting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in an educational setting or with pupil accounting systems.
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
