About the position

Grant Aviation is dedicated to making travel safe, easy, and comfortable for all passengers. As a Station Agent in Kenai, Alaska, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our airport services. This position requires you to carry out all functions associated with Ramp and Customer Service Agent roles, which include meeting and unloading aircraft, processing and securing passenger luggage and freight, and assisting passengers with special needs. You will also be responsible for loading and boarding aircraft, managing flight schedules, routings, and reservation operations, as well as overseeing accounting, dispatch, and safety reporting activities. In addition to these responsibilities, you will manage the daily operations of the station, which includes opening and closing procedures. It is essential to carry yourself with integrity, professionalism, and resourcefulness at all times. You may be assigned to perform various duties at the direction of management to ensure customer satisfaction. This role requires a proactive approach, as you will need to anticipate the needs of others in a fast-paced environment. To succeed in this position, you should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Alaska driver's license, and the ability to pass a 10-year background check. You will also need to comply with the 12-month training requirements for hazmat. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital, as is the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. You should be self-motivated and solution-oriented, capable of learning and operating a computerized reservation system, and able to perform tasks within the parameters specified by various regulatory agencies. Additionally, you should be prepared to work nights and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

Requirements
