About the position
The Station Manager at Kelley Williamson Company is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a retail location, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive buying experience. This role involves employee leadership, development, and the promotion of high-quality products while managing store operations effectively.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the daily operation of an assigned retail location.
- Ensure uninterrupted service and promote a positive customer buying experience.
- Manage employment and employee relations.
- Oversee retail management and operations.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and timely.
- Maintain uninterrupted operation by effectively scheduling staff.
- Assist staff as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct inventory counts and maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Manage cash and ensure accurate cash handling procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain effective communication.
- Ensure facility maintenance and cleanliness for a positive buying experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 6 years management experience required.
- 1-3 years prior management experience in retail, grocery, or restaurant required.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational ability with attention to detail.
- Outstanding interpersonal and business skills.
- Proven motivator with excellent team-building skills.
- Must complete an approved Food Service Sanitation Management course and maintain a valid certificate onsite.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds, stoop, bend, reach above shoulder level, climb, shovel, sweep, and mop.
