About the position

The Stationary HVAC Technician III at Bernhard, LLC is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical components and equipment. This role involves performing service projects and small jobs from start to finish while ensuring total customer satisfaction. The technician will work in a supportive environment that values continuous learning and development, contributing to the company's commitment to innovative energy solutions.

Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of a wide variety of HVAC equipment.
• Perform maintenance of HVAC equipment such as atmospheric boilers and water-cooled chillers.
• Service and repair energy recovery ventilators, hydronic air handling units (AHUs), and fan coil units (FCUs).
• Establish and maintain clear communications with customers on and off job sites.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and tool procurement for the service vehicle.
• Promote and perform all aspects of Bernhard's safety procedures and policies.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of HVAC experience.
• Current Licensed Technician or verifiable experience in servicing commercial HVAC systems.
• Holds EPA Certification.
• Skills of a Level II Technician.
• Experience with cooling tower service, annual maintenance, gearbox replacement and alignment, and hydronic system troubleshooting.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledgeable about the industry and the company's competitors.
• Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.
