About the position

The Statistical Programmer 2 at Sarah Cannon Research Institute is responsible for creating, reviewing, and approving annotated CRF to SDTM datasets, translating the SAP into programming specifications for ADaM datasets, and developing SAS programs for generating standard and custom datasets. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and quality of programming activities, providing oversight and guidance to the programming team, and maintaining effective working relationships within the team. The position allows for 100% telecommuting from a home office anywhere in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Create, review, and approve annotated CRF to SDTM datasets.
  • Translate the SAP into programming specifications for ADaM datasets.
  • Review and provide input on key study-related documents produced by other functions.
  • Develop, review, validate, and execute SAS programs to generate standard and non-standard datasets.
  • Generate presentation-ready outputs (Tables, Figures, and Listings) as defined in the statistical analysis plan.
  • Write and validate study and product-level macros and utilities.
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness of all work completed for the project.
  • Program the integration of databases from multiple studies or sources.
  • Build and monitor quality in every aspect of job activities.
  • Provide project deliverable oversight, guidance, and direction to the programming team.
  • Provide guidance in programming for complex analysis tables/figures and appropriate procedure/method selection for advanced statistical analyses.
  • Ensure all programming activities on the study adhere to required standards.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field.
  • One year of experience as a Statistical Programmer or in a related occupation.
  • Experience with CDISC SDTM Standards and Programming.
  • Experience with CDISC ADAM Standards and Programming.
  • Experience in creating Tables, Listings, and Figures.
  • Proficiency in BASE SAS programming.
  • Experience with SAS Macros.
  • Proficiency in SAS and SAS SQL.
