About the position

As a Statistical Project Leader in Biostatistics, you will lead one or more indications/projects in an Oncology Development at Sanofi, under minimum supervision of senior statistical project leader or team leader. You will provide statistical support and scientific leadership for responsible projects, ensuring accountability for statistical aspects of clinical development plans, studies, and submissions activities. You will mentor team members, promote teamwork, and ensure compliance with SOPs and departmental standards. Additionally, you will plan and track project activities, optimize resource utilization, and ensure productive collaborations with other functions in the aligned project team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project/one or several indications of a project in clinical development.
• Provide statistical support and scientific leadership for responsible projects with minimal direction.
• Accountable for statistical aspects of clinical development plans, studies, and submissions activities.
• Mentor people working on the project and promote teamwork, quality, operational efficiency, and innovation.
• Plan and track project activities, timelines, and resource use.
• Ensure productive collaborations with other functions in the aligned project team.
• Represent statistics in cross-function working groups.
• Contribute to operation process optimization and provide inputs to statistics standards.

Requirements

• PhD/MS in statistics or related discipline.
• At least 6 years of pharmaceutical experience in clinical development, including late phase clinical development.
• Broad knowledge and good understanding of advanced statistical concepts and techniques.
• Ability to perform advanced statistical analyses using SAS or R.
• Demonstrated strong project management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
