About the position

As a Statistical Project Leader in Biostatistics at Sanofi, you will lead one or more indications/projects in Oncology Development with minimal supervision. This role involves providing statistical support and scientific leadership for clinical development projects, ensuring quality and scientific validity in submissions and studies. You will mentor team members, promote operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with departmental standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more indications/projects in Oncology Development.
• Provide statistical support and scientific leadership for responsible projects.
• Accountable for statistical aspects of clinical development plans, studies, and submissions activities.
• Mentor team members working on the project.
• Promote teamwork, quality, operational efficiency, and innovation.
• Plan and track project activities, timelines, and resource use.
• Ensure productive collaborations with other functions in the aligned project team.
• Represent statistics in cross-functional working groups.
• Contribute to operation process optimization and provide inputs to statistics standards.

Requirements

• PhD/MS in statistics or related discipline with at least 6 years of pharmaceutical experience in clinical development, including late phase clinical development.
• Broad knowledge and good understanding of advanced statistical concepts and techniques.
• Ability to perform advanced statistical analyses using SAS or R.
• Demonstrated strong project management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
