About the position
The Captain at Dirty French Steakhouse in Miami is responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role involves greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing customer service issues while maintaining a positive and team-oriented atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and welcoming manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, using the ordering system.
- Make menu item recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
- Communicate food allergy and special nutrition needs to kitchen staff.
- Ensure all orders are filled quickly and accurately, with high-quality food.
- Provide attentive service to guests, including refilling drinks and checking on their needs.
- Promptly address any customer service issues and refer to management if necessary.
Requirements
- Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual demeanor.
- Drive to provide exceptional service and exceed guest expectations.
- Full-time flexible hours required, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours, bend, push, pull, and lift 30 lbs.
- Team-oriented and positive attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in computer skills, including POS systems, Word, and Excel.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in high-volume and fine dining restaurants preferred.
