About the position

The STEM Instructor position is a part-time role focused on teaching elementary and middle school students various STEM subjects. The instructor will guide and educate students in 1-2 classes per day, providing hands-on learning experiences in areas such as robotics, programming, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship. This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to gain valuable teaching experience while becoming a STEM-certified educator.

Responsibilities

• Guide and educate students on STEM subjects in 1 to 2 classes per day.
• Teach hands-on STEM classes including robotics, programming, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship.
• Store, maintain, and transport classroom equipment such as robot kits and laptops.

Requirements

• High school education minimum (Required).
• Undergraduate or above preferred.
• Ability to drive to schools.
• Consent to background checks and other necessary procedures.
• Prior teaching experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware is required.
• Ability and willingness to get certified in STEM topics.
