About the position

The STEM Technical Recruiter will play a crucial role in supporting the recruitment processes for the Data & Technology organization at a major employer in Plano, TX. This contract position involves full cycle recruiting for technical roles, including Engineers, Architects, Scientists, and Analysts, while ensuring a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers. The recruiter will work closely with a small team and manage a significant requisition load, utilizing various sourcing techniques and tools to attract top talent.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full cycle recruiting for technical positions in the Data & Technology team, managing an average requisition load of approximately 15-20 opportunities.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with potential candidates to ensure a strong talent pipeline.
  • Manage candidate pipelines and campaigns, including proactive sourcing and promoting the employee referral program.
  • Understand current internal talent and anticipate future hiring needs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Data & Technology department and its roles to identify key responsibilities and skill requirements.
  • Shepherd candidates through the recruiting process, including technical preemployment assessments and immigration intakes.
  • Provide proactive communication and excellent customer service to stakeholders regarding recruiting plans.
  • Recommend best practices to improve the recruiting process effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and employment laws related to recruiting and hiring practices.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for the Data & Technology department.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, preferably in technology organizations.
  • 4+ years of experience sourcing technical talent using platforms like GitHub, Stack Overflow, and Google Xray.
  • Hands-on experience with technical preemployment assessments such as Code Signal, Hacker Rank, and Coder byte.
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with hiring teams, candidates, and internal HR teams.
  • Knowledge of immigration regulations and experience with work visa support.

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience using Workday Recruit and Phenom People or similar CRM tools.
