About the position

The STEM Technical Recruiter will play a crucial role in supporting the recruitment processes for the Data & Technology (D&T) organization. This position involves full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, including Engineers, Architects, Scientists, and Analysts, while ensuring a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers. The recruiter will work closely with a small team and report to the Engagement Manager, focusing on proactive sourcing and maintaining a strong talent pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full cycle recruiting for technical positions in the Data & Technology (D&T) team, managing an average requisition load of approximately 15-20 opportunities.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with potential candidates to ensure a strong and available talent pipeline beyond current open positions.
  • Manage candidate pipelines and campaigns, including heavy proactive sourcing and leveraging the employee referral program.
  • Understand the current internal talent, skill gaps, and anticipate future hiring needs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the D&T department, functions, roles, and key responsibilities for each position.
  • Shepherd candidates through the recruiting process, including technical preemployment assessments and work visa intakes.
  • Provide proactive communication and excellent customer service to stakeholders regarding recruiting plans.
  • Recommend best practices to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the recruiting process.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and employment laws related to recruiting and hiring practices.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for D&T, engaging candidates with opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical, full cycle recruiting experience, particularly for Data and Technology roles.
  • 2+ years of experience recruiting technical talent, including knowledge of immigration regulations.
  • High proficiency in proactive sourcing techniques using various tools such as Seek Out, LinkedIn Recruiter, Google Xray, and GitHub.
  • Experience with technical preemployment assessments like Code Signal, Hacker Rank, and others.
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with hiring teams, candidates, and internal HR teams.
  • Understanding of the competitive talent landscape and effective communication of the value proposition.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience using Workday Recruit.
  • Experience using Phenom People or another CRM.
