About the position

The STEM Technical Recruiter will play a crucial role in supporting the recruitment processes for the Data & Technology organization. This position requires a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in technical recruiting, particularly for roles such as Engineers, Architects, Scientists, and Analysts. The recruiter will work closely with hiring managers and candidates to ensure a seamless and positive hiring experience, while also managing candidate pipelines and fostering relationships to maintain a strong talent pool.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full cycle recruiting for technical positions in the Data & Technology (D&T) team, managing an average requisition load of approximately 15-20 opportunities.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with potential candidates to ensure a strong and available talent pipeline beyond current open positions.
  • Manage candidate pipelines and campaigns, including heavy proactive sourcing and leveraging the employee referral program.
  • Understand the current internal talent, skill gaps, and anticipate future hiring needs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the D&T department, functions, roles, and key responsibilities to identify skill requirements for each position.
  • Shepherd candidates efficiently through the recruiting process, including technical preemployment assessments and immigration intakes.
  • Provide thorough communication and excellent customer service to stakeholders regarding recruiting plans.
  • Recommend best practices to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the recruiting process.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and employment laws related to recruiting and hiring practices.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for D&T, engaging candidates with opportunities at D&T.

Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years of recruiting experience in-house or at an agency, preferably in technology organizations.
  • Two or more years of experience recruiting technical talent, including knowledge of immigration regulations.
  • High proficiency in proactive sourcing techniques using tools like Seek Out, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, Google Xray, GitHub, and ATS/CRM tools.
  • Hands-on experience with technical preemployment assessments such as Code Signal, Hacker Rank, Coder byte, and Hacker Earth.
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with hiring teams, candidates, and internal HR teams.
  • Understanding of the competitive talent landscape and effective communication of the value proposition for joining the company.
