About the position

The STEPS Dental QA Compliance Analyst position at the University of Kentucky is a part-time, temporary role focused on supporting and ensuring compliance within the UKCD CPR Program. The analyst will be responsible for tracking, reporting, and facilitating various quality assurance processes, including managing product returns and conducting safety observations. This role requires collaboration with the Senior QA Safety Manager and involves maintaining compliance records for healthcare workers.

Responsibilities

  • Support, track, and report on the UKCD CPR Program.
  • Conduct account reconciliation and purchasing needs.
  • Responsible for the Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) process and product disposition (AAR).
  • Facilitate investigations and corrective actions for customer issues and complaints relating to non-conforming products.
  • Work with the corporate quality manager on all new quality standards and processes.
  • Perform daily floor safety observations.
  • Lead and run the facility safety committee under the direction of the Senior QA Safety Manager.
  • Maintain updated data and any applicable review/audit findings monitoring, tracking, and reporting, including database, dashboard, trends, and analysis.
  • Maintain the official files.
  • Facilitate purchasing needs ensuring appropriate approvals and compliance.
  • Manage immunization and competency compliance and reporting for all UKCD Healthcare Workers.
  • Maintain a database of required immunizations for all designated healthcare workers as well as current annual TB screenings.
  • Create reports and distribute information regarding compliance status to various stakeholders.
  • Gather data to support requests from accrediting bodies and other outside entities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to obtain a BLS Instructor certification within 1 year of hire and maintain it throughout employment.
  • Experience in data entry.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, OSHA).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and manage multiple tasks effectively.
