As a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician, you will perform sterile compounding according to company policy and regulations including USP 797 and USP 800. You will maintain competency related to performing sterile compounding and participate in medication management for pharmacy compounding, which includes medication and supply ordering, receiving, and maintenance. Troubleshooting equipment, hardware, and software issues relating to compounding will also be part of your responsibilities. You will participate in completing and documenting all cleaning and monitoring activities identified for areas related to sterile compounding, including daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning requirements. Working within a team, you will triage and respond to all compounding needs promptly while maintaining ongoing didactic and practical training related to sterile compounding. Responsibilities

  • Perform sterile compounding according to company policy and regulations including USP 797 and USP 800
  • Maintain competency related to performing sterile compounding

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Florida OR ability to obtain within 6 months of starting employment
  • 1+ years of consistent sterile compounding experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (8-hour shifts between 7am-7pm weekdays with rotating weekends)

  • Certified Compounded Sterile Preparations Technician (CSPT) certification
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification
