About the position
As a Dishwasher at Goldener Hirsch, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that culinary operations run smoothly. This position involves using both manual and mechanical methods to wash and sanitize kitchen items, assisting in food preparation, and collaborating with kitchen staff to provide a memorable dining experience for guests.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment using manual or mechanical methods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
- Assist kitchen staff in food preparation tasks, such as peeling and cutting vegetables or portioning ingredients.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies to ensure a continuous and efficient workflow.
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations and timely availability of clean dishes during peak hours.
Requirements
- A minimum of one year experience as a Dishwasher.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
