About the position
The Steward position at Live! Casino & Hotel is essential for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas. This role involves operating dishwashing equipment and ensuring that all dishes, silverware, and kitchen utensils are properly washed and sanitized. The Steward contributes to the overall guest experience by keeping the dining area tidy and presentable.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for washing and sanitizing all kitchen and dining room dishes, silverware, pots and pans.
- Ensure that all items are clean and presentable.
- Keep the guest area clean and tidy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Zero (0) to six (6) months food service experience.
- Ability to use chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to read and write basic instructions.
