About the position

The Stewardship Manager at Eagle Brook Church is responsible for leading and directing various funding opportunities to enhance the generosity of church attenders. This role involves creating and evaluating strategies to support and increase engagement through effective communication and event planning. The position requires a relational and self-motivated individual who is enthusiastic about resourcing the future needs of the organization and appreciates attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and directs various campaign specific events and gatherings to increase engagement with attenders.
  • Provides oversight for Vision Weekend, an annual initiative for Generosity.
  • Partners with cross-functional teams to ensure successful planning and execution of generosity vision gatherings and Vision Weekend.
  • Communicates the vision in partnership with the Generosity Director and creates written communication.
  • Identifies and creates relevant strategies to increase impact through opportunities to regularly thank financial partners for their support.
  • Equips the Generosity team to succeed in their roles through creating and analyzing ongoing reports.
  • Measures, monitors, and responds to the effectiveness of strategies using data.
  • Collaborates with the Generosity Engagement Manager and Generosity Relationship Manager on the effectiveness of various opportunities with financial partners and attenders.
  • Works cross-functionally with central departments to create content, manage projects, and implement specific events/strategies.
  • Oversees Generosity targeted communication and content creation.
  • Researches and maintains a database of creative and relevant ideas and techniques to increase generosity.
  • Participates in additional Generosity projects through ideating and editing.
  • Manages data entry in the database and budget management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of development or comparable work experience.
  • Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook's nine core beliefs.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office products: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and church management systems.
