About the position

The Stf, DevSecOps Engineer at Lockheed Martin will support tools and processes related to Aegis development, ensuring business continuity and consistency across programs. This role involves working with Site Reliability Engineer teams, developing technologies for the Common Source Library, and implementing changes aligned with Digital Transformation initiatives for DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

  • Support Site Reliability Engineer teams (SRTs) in Aegis development.
  • Develop and support technologies and processes for the Common Source Library (CSL).
  • Manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Facilitate tool and pipeline transitions/migrations, including system 318 transition and RHEL8 migration.
  • Identify and implement changes to legacy processes and tools in alignment with Digital Transformation initiatives.

Requirements

  • BS Degree in a relevant field.
  • Software development skills in Java, Python, Ansible, Groovy, Maven, Make, or Go.
  • Understanding of tools such as OpenStack, Bitbucket, Jenkins Pipeline, Git/Gitlab, Ansible, CMake, Artifactory, and RHEL8.
  • Experience with Cloud technologies like Kubernetes and OpenShift.
  • Experience with JIRA and integrating tools like Jira with Gitlab.
  • Experience troubleshooting the Common Source Pipeline and supporting Aegis product teams with Fortify/SAST usage.
  • Ability to write Ansible and maintain playbooks.
  • Experience writing Jenkins Pipeline Groovy code or similar setup (GitLab).
  • Experience with IL5/IL6 Cloud environments and setting up pipelines within those environments.
  • Understanding of DevOps concepts and pipeline roles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Configuration Management tools and processes.
  • Understanding of basic dependency management concepts.
  • Experience writing automated tests.
  • Experience building C++ applications.
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively.
  • Well versed in Semantic Versioning.
  • Experience performing tool and process migrations.
